ISCG IA genetics working group
Collecting information to identify genetic factors
ISGC IA genetics working group is collecting information on patient background, intracranial aneurysm (IA), and genetics to identify genetic factors involved in IA formation, growth and rupture, and define the usability of genetic information for quantifying the risk of IA and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (aSAH).
The IA genetics working group falls under the broad umbrella of the International Stroke Genetics Consortium (ISGC) but also includes non-ISGC members.
The IA genetics working group includes representatives from different groups who have contributed samples or data to GWAS studies on IA genetics.
The vision and values are:
- To promote and facilitate high-quality genetic research in IA
- To foster collaboration in a collegiate environment
- To acknowledge academic contribution appropriately
- To behave with integrity and in a transparent manner
If you are already an ISGC IA working group member, you can update information regarding the clinical trial master file and upload your data on the ISGC IA data platform.
If you are not yet a member or need support, please contact ISGC management office.
